You're in the beta. Here's how to get set up.

Step 1

Install the app

Beta builds don't come from the regular App Store or Play Store listing. You get them through a testing link tied to your account.

iPhone: TestFlight

Apple limits TestFlight builds to 90 days. If you're an active user we'll send you a new link before this one expires.

Android: Play Store

Important: Use the same Google account you signed up with, or the Play Store won't recognize you as a tester.

Step 2

Create your account

You need an account to use Trackeon. There's no guest mode. First launch drops you on this screen:

Trackeon welcome screen with Log In and Create An Account buttons

1. Welcome

First thing you see. New here? Tap Create An Account. Already have one? Tap Log In.

Trackeon sign up screen with name, email, password fields and Apple/Google buttons

2. Sign up

Name, email, password, then check the agreement box, or skip the form and use Apple or Google instead.

3. Log in

Returning tester? Same email and password (or the same Apple/Google account) gets you back in.

Step 3

Set up your phone for best results

Trackeon's camera is the launch monitor, so where you put the phone matters more than any setting inside the app.

Phone mounted on an extendable tripod above the ball, with an arrow and ruler marking the camera height

Get a tripod with short legs that can tilt downwards.

This is the one we use at Trackeon but you can use any tripod that holds the phone in the correct position.

Tripod on Amazon

Set the tripod 36"-56" off the ground, camera looking down.

If the app is consistently missing shots, try raising it up a few inches.

A slight tilt is fine.

The app compensates for it, so don't stress over getting it perfectly level.

Measure the height, don't estimate it.

From the ground directly below the camera up to the lens. This is the single most important number for accurate results.

Light the ball well and evenly.

Dim lighting drags down how accurate the results are.

Turn your volume up!

The app "dings" when the app is ready for you to swing, make sure you can hear it.

Step 4

Using the launch monitor

Phone's mounted and you're logged in. Here's how to start tracking shots.

Trackeon Home screen showing Range Session, GSPro, and Open Golf Sim connection options

1. Get started

Tap Get started on the Play tab to open the tracker.

Trackeon tracker settings screen with handedness, units, and camera height fields

2. Apply your settings

Confirm your handedness, units, and camera height, then tap Start Tracking.

Trackeon tracker dashboard showing total distance, carry, apex, ball speed, vertical angle, direction, flight time, and descent

3. Swing away

Position a ball in the ring, wait for the ding, then swing normally. Trackeon tracks the rest.

Step 5

Share data and report bugs

Both live in the same place: the Account tab.

Trackeon account screen with File a bug and Upload swing captures rows

Found something broken?

Open the Account tab, tap File a bug under Support & Legal, and fill out the form. It grabs your device details automatically, so just describe what happened.

Want us to look at a specific swing?

Same tab, under Beta, tap Upload swing captures. Select the ones you want to share and tap Upload, that sends the video and camera data straight to us.

Fill out the survey, PLEASE!

In your initial beta invitation email you received a link to a survey. Please use the app for a little while and then let us know what you thought of it. We want to make your time in the app the best experience possible.

Step 6

Complete the survey

Give us your feedback!
