This week’s build is the biggest change to Trackeon since the beta began. You can now send your shots from Trackeon straight to GSPro or OpenGolfSim (including putts), and use a redesigned tracker that is easier to read from across the hitting area.
Underneath that new experience is a simpler, ball-focused tracking pipeline. We removed work that did not meet our reliability bar, tightened the capture lifecycle on both platforms, and reduced the amount of processing the phone has to do during a session.

Capture, orientation, audio recovery, and thermal handling have all been strengthened for a steadier experience.
Choose the putter from your bag and the tracker now watches the ball along the ground instead of treating the stroke like a full swing. After each putt, the dashboard shows distance, ball speed, start direction, and green speed. Putts are saved to history with the rest of your shots.
This is the first beta version of putting. The current model uses a flat stimp-10 green, so slope and break are not modeled yet. That narrower starting point lets us focus feedback on the part the phone measures directly: how the ball starts and how far it rolls.
OpenGolfSim and GSPro join Trackeon’s browser range as a supported way to play on a larger screen. Open OpenGolfSim Desktop, put the phone and computer on the same network, and enter the computer’s local IP address in Trackeon. The app follows the selected club (and handedness in GSPro) and sends each completed shot directly to the simulator.
We also hardened the connection around real-world network behavior: split messages, multiple messages arriving together, reconnects, and repeated ready signals. If a shot is rejected or the connection drops, the tracker now gives you a clear status instead of leaving you to guess.
The live dashboard has a new hierarchy designed to be readable from a tripod. Total distance is the headline number for full swings, with carry and apex directly beneath it. Ball speed, launch angles, flight time, and descent stay in one consistent row, so the layout no longer shifts as results arrive. In putting mode, putt distance takes the headline position.
We have also removed club speed from this build. A single phone camera measures the ball more consistently than the clubhead, and beta feedback is most useful when every number on screen is one we can defend. The new native pipeline is therefore focused entirely on finding, following, and validating the ball.
A lot of this week’s work lives in moments that should feel uneventful: switching between a putter and a full-swing club, leaving the tracker and coming back, rotating the phone, recovering after an audio interruption, or continuing after the device warms up.
Those paths now preserve the correct tracking mode and capture geometry more consistently. iOS and Android also do less allocation-heavy work in the high-speed pipeline, while putting verification continues at the cadence it needs under thermal pressure. The result should be fewer missed attempts and fewer sessions that need to be restarted.
