Delete your Trackeon account and data
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Use this page to ask us to delete your Trackeon account and the data attached to it. You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to sign in. Requests are free, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
1. Fastest way: delete in the app
If you can still sign in, deleting from inside the app is immediate and does not wait on us.
- Open the Trackeon app and sign in.
- Go to the Account screen.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
That removes your account and its data straight away, and it cannot be undone. Use the form below instead if you cannot sign in, you have already removed the app, or you never had an account and only joined the waitlist or sent us a message.
2. Request deletion here
Tell us the email address on your account and what you want deleted. You do not need to create an account or install anything to use this form.
If the form does not work for you, email support@trackeongolf.com with the email address on your account and what you want us to delete. Both routes reach the same person.
3. What we delete
When we delete your account, we remove:
- Your account and login record, including your email address and authentication details.
- Your player profile, including the name and settings stored with your account.
- Your club bag.
- Every shot in your history, including the calculated metrics for each shot.
- Your aggregate lifetime stats and per-club records.
- Any swing-capture files you chose to upload to us during the beta. We delete these first, before the account itself, because deleting the account is what removes our ability to reach them. If that step fails, a file can be left behind; see section 4.
- Your practice sessions. Where a session record has to remain for system integrity, it remains only in de-identified form and is no longer linked to you.
Removing the app from your phone clears what the app stored on the device itself, such as your saved sign-in session, the installation identifier, and your settings.
4. What we keep, why, and for how long
Some data survives deletion. None of it is used to rebuild your account, and we do not restore deleted account data from backup for ordinary use.
- Security and authentication logs held by our hosting and authentication providers, kept on those providers' own retention schedules. We keep these to investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Trackeon operational event logs, kept for up to 30 days. We keep these to diagnose crashes and errors.
- Disaster-recovery backups, which may hold residual copies until those backups cycle out. We keep backups so the service can be recovered after a failure.
- Records we have to keep by law, such as what we need to handle a legal claim or to show that we honoured your request, kept only for as long as that obligation lasts.
- Swing-capture files that a failed deletion left behind. We delete uploaded captures just before the account itself, and that is the last point at which we can reach them, so if that step fails the files stay in our storage while the account deletion goes ahead anyway. Most failures are reported to us automatically, and we will delete any file left behind this way once we know about it. Email support@trackeongolf.com if you want us to check.
5. Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account. You can ask for any of these on their own:
- Your uploaded beta swing captures. We delete the files you uploaded and leave the rest of your account intact.
- Your beta waitlist email address. We take you off the waitlist.
- Your messages to us. We delete the contact-form messages you sent and our replies.
Waitlist entries and contact messages are not connected to an account, so the app cannot delete them. This page is the only way to have them removed.
6. What happens after you send a request
- Within 7 days we email you at the address you gave us, to confirm the request is really yours.
- You reply to that email from the address on the account. That is how we verify you. We do not ask for identity documents.
- Within 30 days of your request we finish it and email you to confirm. If a request is complicated and needs longer, we will tell you before the 30 days are up and explain why.
If we cannot reasonably confirm that a request came from the account holder, we will tell you and we will not delete the account. Deleting someone's data on an unverified request would itself be a security failure. If we refuse a request or cannot complete it, we will tell you why, and you can appeal by replying to that email or writing to support@trackeongolf.com. We will review the appeal and write back with the outcome and our reasons.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot undo it, we cannot recover your shot history afterwards, and using Trackeon again means starting a new account from scratch.
7. Your other privacy rights
You can use the same form or the same email address to ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Object to or restrict how we use your information.
- Withdraw consent you gave us, including consent to upload swing captures during the beta.
Someone else can make a request on your behalf, such as a parent, a legal representative, or an authorized agent. We will ask for reasonable proof that they are acting for you. Requests are free, and exercising a privacy right never costs you access to the app or to any feature.
Which of these rights apply to you depends on where you live, and some are subject to legal exceptions. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
8. Who handles your request
Trackeon is developed and operated by Justin Terry. Requests and questions go to support@trackeongolf.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the data protection or privacy regulator where you live. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right, but you are not required to.
